What is chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, natural form of healthcare that doesn’t rely on prescription drugs or surgery to treat pain and other problems. The goal of chiropractic care isn’t only to treat the patient’s pain and other problems, but also to improve the patient’s overall health and wellbeing so that they can live a better, more productive life.

What treatments are available from Structural Based Therapy?

One of the most common chiropractic treatments utilized at Structural Based Therapy is chiropractic manipulation. This treatment involves the gentle manipulation of vertebrae and joints. • Cold laser therapy
  • Manual muscle therapy
  • Electric muscle stimulation
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
  • Massage therapy

  • Diagnostic ultrasound

  • Sports injuries

Is chiropractic care safe?

Chiropractic care is considered generally safe for most patients. Because these treatments are non-invasive, patients don’t have to worry about the side effects commonly associated with more intensive treatment options, such as surgery. In addition, chiropractic care doesn’t cause as many side effects as standard medical alternatives, such as prescription narcotics or steroid injections.
Before beginning a treatment plan, the doctors at Structural Based Therapy will always explain any risks or potential side effects to the patient so they can prepare accordingly.

How long does it take to see results?

Many patients will notice results shortly after beginning treatment. Most patients will have noticeable improvement or a complete relief from symptoms within 3-6 sessions. The doctors at Structural Based Therapy work hard to provide patients with results as quickly as possible.

How long do sessions last?

Most chiropractic care sessions last for approximately 30 minutes. During this time, patients will participate in a combination of different therapies designed to address their physical problems.
